English - We are currently working on Short Stories, which I find very amusing as they aren't too long that drags on and loses the reader's interest. It compact, short but very interesting. I like english as nearly every few lessons I get to know new short stories. Every new one is so much intriguing.

Math- We are currently on percentages, which is very intriguing. I had great fun solving the problems as they are linked to algebra, which is another subject that i used to be really bad at. I just cracked on algebra and numeral questions this year. I got a great boost in grades this year.

Chinese- In chinese, we are doing short stories too. I used to be really bad at chinese. After attending this school I got better as I paid more attention to class. Partly the reason that I did badly at my last school as the teacher is so strict that no one had the heart to study carefully. This school's studying methods are better as they use interesting  ways to teachers

Science- We are learning about electrical energy, Volts, Amperes .etc. I enjoy this challenging but fun activity. You get to understand about circuits and how electricity works with all appliances of our daily lives, also how electricity is made through burning fossil fuels in a factory. These subjects are closely related to past subjects such as global warming so it carries on.

D.T.- We are doing our projects on phone cases, which is extremely intriguing too, because you get a sense of accomplishment after you finish a large project. This class is pretty exciting to attend to because it lets you go of boring homework and get to do something on hand. We are currently doing our final design of the phone cases we designed, so we have to cut it with infinite precision, file & sand until it is smooth.

Art- This subject is interesting too, it also lets  you free from homework and lets you do something on hand. We are currently focusing on human features, shadowing and shapes of our noses, eyes and mouths. We made plaster casts of our faces and had fun making them and see if they fit. This unit is fun as we get to see what we drew of ourselves, so we can learn from each other.

Humanities- We are now focusing on the Renaissance art, which is learning about famous artists in the renaissance. This subject is very fun as it is interesting to learn about how people evolved from flat paintings on paper to grand masterpieces like the Mona Lisa. It seemed so real, like a picture. This subject really pulls you in because you will wonder at geniuses such as Leonardo Da Vinci, and how their inventions are out of their time.

Goals- My few goals of 2014/2015 are the following:

-Get to understand more about this school's programs, join more activities that is out-of-school, such as sports teams and more ASA's. I should also do more CAS programs because I am also lacking a lot on that too. I am achieving this by going to the QuFu trip, and probably joining the basketball team, if the time meets my specifications.

Goal 2- I should be slightly balanced with my work and rest. Sometimes I rest too much as result nothing done, but sometimes I work too hard and get really fatigued as a result. I need to manage my time on how and when I would study and rest. If I get balanced then I will have good grades while not feeling tired the second day. I am achieving this by writing a time table to organize myself. Then, I would be able to see when is study time and when is rest time.

Goal 3- I am trying to get serious on my music. Music has always been a huge part in my life, as I can't survive without music. I am surly getting into IGCSE music as I can play 4 instruments, Piano, Violin, Saxophone, Electric Guitar. I look forward to enter it as I am practicing towards it. I will definitely practice my instruments more than ever because I think music should be my #1 motive in life. I shall achieve this by practicing regularly every single day, and also, balancing it with my academic studies too. I should also prepare for huge amounts of work next year.
